How to Eat All Day,
Never be Hungry,
and Lose Weight !!!!!!
This is an
excellent way to lose between 10 and 15 pounds in two weeks. If followed faithfully, there
will be no hunger, you will lose weight quickly, and you can eat constantly throughout the
day. I personally lost 17 pounds in two weeks using this method. Here are the steps you
will have to follow to insure your success:
1. Eat only raw, vegetarian foods during the day!
2. Write down your reasons for changing your diet on a 5x7
index card and carry it with you everywhere you go. Read your reasons the first thing in
the morning, the last thing at night, and periodically throught the day.
3. Make sure you have the following items with you througout each
and every day: pure drinking water, blended smoothies (see recipes), bananas, oranges,
apples, avocados, grapes, a large raw salad (see recipes), a zip-lock bag with your
favorite sliced raw vegetables a/o fruits, and a zip-lock bag of your own trail mix (raw
pecans, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins, dates, etc,). (Available at Whole Foods,
Sprouts, or any large health store).
4. Sip the pure water throughout the day, without fail.
5. When you start feeling hungry or having cravings, DON'T
WAIT!!! Eat something from the items above which is appropriate for the moment. Again,
DON'T WAIT!!! Read your "Reasons" card during these times if possible. Remember,
life is short. Show the world what you're made of. Don't come to the end of life and say,
"I could have, I should have, I would have." JUST DO IT!!!
6. At night, eat a large vegetable salad and then one cooked
vegetarian meal (baked potato, baked sweet potato, beans, brown rice (not fried), cooked
vegetables, etc.
7. No refined sugar, softdrinks with sugar, chips, cake, pie,
cookies, dairy products, eggs, cheese, candy, yogurt, or any animal products.
8. Take Metamucil every day according to the instructions.
(Available at any grocery store).
9. Go to bed as early as you can tolerate for the two weeks.
10. Exercise daily. Do not engage in strenuous exercise, just activities
such as walking, yoga stretching, abdominal crunches,
general calisthenics, light rope jumping, etc.
11. Visualize in your mind exactly how you want your body to look. See
yourself already having that body. Visualize others complimenting you and asking you how
you did it.
*Note:
This method was designed for individuals who want to transition
to a 90-100% raw vegan diet. Even those who do not become 100% raw will lose weight and
learn a lot about themselves and their eating habits during these two weeks. It may seem
surprising, but during this adventure you will discover how addicted we all are to certain
foods, the temperature of foods, and our attitude towards food in general.
If you follow this routine completely for the two weeks, you will
lose weight. Not only that, but you will feel better in many ways almost immediately. You
will feel lighter after the first couple of days, have more energy, be more alert, and
sleep better. After you have gone two weeks, you may then assess the benefits you have
experienced and then determine if you want to continue in the same manner, pursue 100% raw
veganism, or return to the "sad American diet". You certainly will be no worse
for the experience.
The most amazing thing I
learned after beginning my transition to a 100% raw food lifestyle was that in the
beginning, the battle is with letting go of certain foods and drinks, then craving the
temperature of the foods, then battling inner emotional and spiritual conflicts, etc. One
thing I can tell you for sure is that if you continue in this manner, your life will
change completely. After a certain amount of time, you will not even be the same person
you were before. You will look and feel years younger, experience unlimited energy, and
most importantly, you will experience the ecstasy of having conquered yourself. Life is a
gift. We get one chance at it. What will you do with yours?
